PARSE stablecoin

What is PARSE?

PARSE token is an algorithmic stablecoin built on top of Ampleforth elastic supply protocol.

The Ampleforth Protocol targets the CPI adjusted 2019 US dollar and automatically expands or contracts the quantity of tokens in user wallets based on price. Think of AMPL as similar to Bitcoin, except the number of AMPL tokens in your wallet increases when there's more demand and decreases when there's less demand.

just like AMPL, the amount of PARSE in your wallet will adjust by demand but the key difference is the introduction of tax protocol.

What is the tax protocol?

PARSE utilizes a simple strategy to maintain its stability, if the price of PARSE goes below 1$, a small tax fee will be applied to all transactions with the purpose of pushing the price up again.

see Tax Protocol for more information.

What is PARSE's target price?

PARSE uses the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index published monthly by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) to target its price to 2022 USD.

see Target Price for more information.

Which wallets support PARSE?

You need 1) an ethereum compatible wallet configured to connect to polygon network 2) some MATIC to pay for transaction fees.

Then you can get some free PARSE from us in our airdrop program or buy PARSE from supported exchanges.

if you have used other ERC-20 based tokens in the past you'll notice no difference in PARSE functionality and other such tokens.

How much does it cost to use PARSE?

in the green days, a single transfer will cost around $$ MATIC.

How is PARSE governed?

PARSE is governed by HOKM Decentralized Autonomous Organization. Any HOKM token holder can propose a change in protocol parameters or even a completely different implementation for a part of PARSE.
